Internet Marketing Strategy is really easy and not all that different from any other marketing strategy other than having your audience online.

Everything is the same for your business. You still need to advertise, provide support for your product, communicate with your customers and maintain a presence on the web. So what is all the excitement over doing this online?

One prime example is the ability to minimize cost. The cost of having an internet marketing strategy is low. Therefore, an entrepreneur has a greater chance of having a profitable business online because start up costs are not that much. So why do "online businesses" fail?

For the internet or any business a strategy must be developed prior to the business going live or should I say made available to the public. A simple internet marketing strategy is listbuilding. The cost to do this sort of internet marketing strategy is the lowest cost that I can think of because it can be absolutely free. You need to do the following for it to work.

Keeping things simple; I am assuming you already have a market and niche for that market. Your hosting provider can be free but not recommended. So start with a blog. You can get one at blogspot.com or weebly.com or squidoo.com. Get a free autoresponder with getresponse.com. The next thing is to write articles. Write or "type" on as many ideas, thoughts, methods and tips that you can think of. Then provide an about the author box. This will include a link to a webpage (your blog) that you set up and put in your autoresponder code.

Next, create a series of e-mails to send to your "list" providing them with your valuable information about the niche they are interested in. After about 7 or so in the series hit them up with an offer to buy something. Sometimes this will take 2 or three e-mails maybe more to get them to sign up, buy or download your offer. In a nutshell that is the simplest internet marketing strategy I can think of.
